Willard was a special human being. He was a kind, loving, compassionate, wise man.
A true artist, a special interior designer that would know the history of every piece he would choose for your home. Willard was a great story teller. He would keep you
Mesmerized, stepping back in time, having the listener participate in his story. He made you cry, and laugh all within the same story. He was family to my mother, to myself, and to my son. God called you home, He has His own plan for all of us. You left a void for all of us you left behind, I will miss you my wonderful friend!

Oh Carol, I am so sorry. I loved him so! Always so nice to me. I just saw it on Facebook. I have been out of town for a week. I would have been at the service otherwise. You have wonderful memories. I hurt for you. God is good and will care for you!
Love you

Willard was one of kind- A very special person to many. He and I shared the love of Gillisonville (the Country Club as he called it) and Flowers. He had such a talent of taking what many called weeds ( wild flowers) and presenting them as beautiful arrangements. Much knowledge left the earth on Sunday ! He will be truly missed.

Mr. Willard was such a kind and gentle man. He was a true southern gentleman. He and Ms Carol were the first to welcome us to bible study at Gillisonville Baptist Church. They moved from their table to sit with us. Mr Willard will be missed. May God bless Ms. Carol and give her peace. We will see you again friend..

Dear Willard, yesterday we had a Fabric rep stop by that had brought lunch. I sat a beautiful table in your honor and said to myself how much you would have enjoyed. I always enjoyed doing special things for you. It brought much happiness to you and that made me happy. Thank you many times for all you taught me and all the good times and memories we shared. You will always be in my heart and one of the top five people who were instrumental in my career. Much love. Your friend forever David Van Ling
