Walter Eugene Hadwin Jr, 55, of Hardeeville, SC entered eternal peace on August 28, 2021, at his home.
He was born in Savannah, GA on February 16,1966, he was the son of the late Walter Eugene Hadwin and the late Marilyn Morris Hadwin.
He was raised in Port Wentworth and had a passion for go cart racing and won hundreds of titles. Not only did he win the races, but he also built his own motors. He was a very gifted mechanic and driver! He worked for his father at Midas Brakes until they started their own company, Hadwin Construction. He made his home in Levy, SC where he and his wife raised their children and ran the business. He was a loving father and grandfather and he had a huge heart and always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Ruby Hadwin and Rufus and Daisy Morris; two sisters, Shirley Hadwin and Traci Elmgren, and one brother, Michael McFarlane.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Angela, two daughters, Brandi (Randy) Hoover, Melissa (Ricky) Bell and one son, Walter Eugene Hadwin IV, 6 grandchildren Evalyn Hoover, Emaley Hoover, Sophia Bell, Annalise Bell, Elexie Hoover and Elton Hoover. Three sisters, Terry Grainger (Kenny), Tammie Davids (Bobby), Brittney Rodriguez (Damien), two brothers, AJ and Hunter Hadwin, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday September 3rd at 6:00pm and the family will receive friends from 5:00pm until the hour of service at Vaigneur Funeral Home 6802 Tillman Rd, Ridgeland, SC.
