Rubina Sparks Duncan

Ms. Rubina Sparks Duncan, 94, of Ridgeland SC, passed away on April 14, 2025.  She was born in Statesboro Ga on September 25, 1930, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Dovie Collins Sparks.

Ms. Rubina worked 42 years at a sewing factory. She enjoyed fishing, growing flowers and working in her yard. Rubina loved her family very much but most of all enjoyed her time with the grandchildren.  She was a woman who knew what she wanted to say, and you never had to wonder what was on her mind.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Phil Boudrieau (Pat), Jackie Bozard (Kevin), Linda Smith (James), brother, Bobby Joe Sparks, grandchildren: Micheal Boudrieau, Kayce Bozard, great grandchildren: Frankie, Alleigh, Kaydee, Karleigh, Emily, Mason, and great great grandchildren: Skyler, Austin, Elizabeth and Jayce.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Meadows, brothers: R.L. Sparks, Robert Sparks, sisters: Juanita Cleland, Ethel Cleland, a granddaughter, Sonya Adams, and a great grandson, JT Adams.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 17, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Vaigneur Funeral Home Chapel, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland SC 29936.  The family will receive guests beginning at 3:00 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service in Grahamville Cemetery, Ridgeland SC.
