Robert Edge, Jr.

Robert Jefferson Edge, Jr., 51, of Hardeeville SC, passed away on June 10, 2024.  He was born in Greenville SC, on June 2, 1973, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Ann Taylor Edge.

Robert worked in the food and beverage industry as a cook.  In his off time, he watched his beloved Clemson Tigers play football.  He loved making delicious food and his signature dish was peach cobbler.  His church and doing for others were a very important part of his life.  He was mission minded and the outreach minister at Acts of Faith Ministry in Walterboro SC.  Through his ministry, he was able to help others by preparing and delivering meals, especially around the holidays, to those who were homeless and less fortunate.  He never met a stranger, had a heart of gold and always wanted those around him to have the things they needed. Family meant everything to him.  They knew he loved them!  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Necold Edge, son, Zachary Edge (Melissa), daughters; Amanda Causey (Tracy), Bethani Edge, sisters; Rebecca Edge, Wanda Bailey (Tony), grandchildren; Conner Harris, Peyton Edge, Everly Edge, Gavin Edge, a host of nieces and nephews, and his K-9 companion, “Chevy”.

The family will celebrate his life at a later date.
