Mr. Richard “Rick” Christopher Orlick, 82, of Ridgeland SC, passed away on August 13, 2020. He was born in Ludlow MA. On November 09, 1937 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Katherine Anthony Orlick.
After high school Rick joined the US Marine Corps. When his duty to the Corps was completed, he went to work for UPS. After 27 years of service, he retired from UPS as an over the road truck driver. He was a faithful member of Tillman Baptist Church, enjoyed singing in the choir, and was always willing to volunteer around the church. Rick enjoyed road trips to his favorite locations, Biloxi MS, and Cherokee NC to visit the casinos. When he was home, he would be gardening, visiting with his best friend Donnie, who was like a brother, and just enjoying “Southern Living”. Being a notorious prankster, he kept his family and friends wondering what he would do next. His love for the Marine Corps was evident through his years of raising money for the Yemassee SC train depot recruit reunion.
