Pamela Westbrook Stanley, 56, of Ridgeland, SC, passed away on April 17, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia.
Pam was born on September 2, 1963 in Ridgeland SC, to the late Mr. Wayne Westbrook and Ms. Nancy Malphrus Rivera.
She enjoyed her career in hairdressing for over 35 years, during which time she worked on Parris Island, the Beaufort Air Station in Beaufort SC and later at Pam’s Barber shop in Ridgeland. Church was a big part of Pam’s life, and she loved being on the parade and decorating committees. She also served on the church’s bereavement committee. Pam was always willing to help others and had a unique ability to help children. Her loving spirit defined who she was. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Frederick Stanley, her mother, Nancy Rivera, one daughter, Olivia Stanley, one son, Jeffery Stanley, one brother, Allen Smith (Marie), and one sister, Debbie Smith. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. One brother, Tommy Smith preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stanley’s family will celebrate her life with a private funeral service and burial. A memorial service for family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
