Mable (Roach) Clement

     Mable Roach Clement, 87, of Beaufort, SC, native of Hardeeville, SC went to rest on Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was the widow of John Cleveland Clement.

     Ms. Mable was born on October 14, 1933, in Hardeeville to the late Harry Varn and Pearl C. Roach. She was Salutatorian in her high school class, voted Miss Hardeeville High, a member of Beta Club, a great basketball player, and a graduate of Draughon’s Business College. Ms. Clement was a member of Maye River Baptist Church in Okatie, SC.

     Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Ronald S. Webb (Karen), Janet Webb Tillman, Linda Clement, Sandra Clement Durham (Tim), Jabos Clement (Kim); two granddaughters, four grandsons, two great grandsons, three great granddaughters; one sister, Dorothy Roach Cooler; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by one sister, Jennie Lee Roach Ihly.

    A graveside service will be at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Maye River Baptist Church Cemetery, 3507 Okatie Highway, Okatie, SC. The family will receive friends following the service.
