Linda Hagy

Ms. Linda Able Hagy, 78, of Yemassee SC, passed away on February 11, 2026.  She was born in Ridgeland SC, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace and Inez Collins Able.

Ms. Linda had a true heart for her family. Her devotion knew no bounds, and that is what kept her family together.  As an accomplished seamstress, she didn’t just sew fabric; she stitched together the lives of those around her.  She never met a stranger, treating everyone like a long-lost friend.  Whether she was talking ceramics or humming along to her favorite Elvis song, everyone around her appreciated her loyalty.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Paula Deloach Hagan(Michael), Elizabeth Hagy-Ferrentino(Michael), brother, O’neal Able, sisters: Sandra Smith, Janet Smith, Barbara Able, grandchildren: Christopher, Thomas, Ryan, Skylar, great grandchildren: Addie, Emmie, Isabella, Charlotte.  She was preceded in death by her husband Willis “Jack” Hagy.

A funeral service will be held on Friday February 13, 2026, at 11:00 am at Vaigneur Funeral Home, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland SC.  The family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of service.  Interment will be in the Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St. Beaufort SC at 2:00 pm.
