John Elliott Langford, III

John Elliott “Ellie” Langford, III, 67, of Okatie, SC passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born on August 4, 1954, in Hampton, SC to the late Mr. John Elliott Langford, Jr and Mrs. Mary Ellen Malphrus Langford.

Ellie enjoyed fishing and spending time on the river. He was an avid Gamecock fan.

Ellie was a loving brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Meghan Langford Scanlon (Franklin) and Rachel Langford; one brother, Timmy Langford (Julie); grandchildren, Dakota Tilley (Brayden), Jackson Kalinowsky, Addyson Scanlon, Joanna Langford; great granddaughter, Sky Angelillo; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Vaigneur Funeral Home Chapel, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland, SC. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of service. Interment to follow the service at the Great Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, 9009 Tarboro Road, Ridgeland, SC.
