Jimmy Liles

James “Jimmy” Richard Liles, 70, of Ridgeland, SC passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at his home.

He was born on July 17, 1949 in Beaufort, SC to the late Mrs. Geraldine Liles Colter.

Mr. Liles previously owned and operated Carquest stores in Ridgeland and Beaufort, SC, and was a collector of antiques. He loved animals, gave his all to each of his endeavors, and was passionate about “OLD” country music.

Left to cherish his memories are his life partner, Vera Liles Malphrus, one son, Tylor Liles, one daughter, Julie Liles Crews, one brother, Matt Colter, one sister, Margaret Smith, two grandchildren Brooke Smoak, Mason Liles and one great grandson, Colton Wells. He was predeceased by one brother, Bobby Liles.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm at Vaigneur Funeral Home chapel, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland SC on Tuesday June 23, 2020, with a visitation from 1:30 til the hour of service. A burial will follow the service, in Grimes cemetery in Grays, SC.
