Jennifer Resh

Jennifer Rose Resh, 48, of Ridgeland SC, passed away on July 22, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 9, 1977, in Beaufort SC, to Mr. John Nichols and Ms. Linda Gratzol Nichols.

Jennifer was a caregiver for many years and always enjoyed helping others. To her, other’s needs were more important than hers and so many times she was neglecting herself to tend to them. She loved her family very much, was a caring, loving wife and adored her children. Laughter and making life better for those around her gave her the opportunity to make up songs and sing them anytime she could get someone to listen. In her time alone, she enjoyed reading and watching movies.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jay Resh, mother, Linda Nichols, father, John Nichols, daughters: Tori Church (AJ Woods), Keaton Church (Jared Scott), Kamryn Church (Bradley Bonds), step-son, Bryson Resh, grandson, Kyson Church, and a future baby boy, Krew Bonds, nieces and nephews: Courtney Resh (Brayden Horry), RJ Cowart, Luke Chittum, and Kyleigh Chittum.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Kristin Nichols.

A celebration of life service will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 1610 Grays Highway, Ridgeland SC, on Sunday August 3, 2025, at 3:00 pm. In honor of her uplifting spirit, please wear bright colors to celebrate her life.
