Helen (Bell) Malphrus

Mrs. Helen Bell Malphrus, 86, of Ridgeland, SC passed away on August 27, 2025. She was born in Winnsboro, SC on January 24, 1939, to the late Essie Taylor Bell and the late William Bell.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Red Malphrus; son, Travis Malphrus (Kay); daughter, Laura Malphrus (Baylor O’Cain); grandchildren, Chelsy Seglund (Erik), Adrienne Malphrus, Bailey Cardenas (Chad), Sarah Wilson (Kyle), David Howe, Zachary Simmons (Jessica), eleven great grandchildren; brother, William Bell Jr. (Callie), and brother-in-law, Joe Silvia. She was predeceased by her sister, Joann Silvia.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Great Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, 9009 Tarboro Rd., Ridgeland, SC 29936.
