Obituary
Glay “Butch” Eugene Maggard, Jr. 65, of Ridgeland, SC passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022. He was born on August 17, 1956, in Louisville, KY to the late Mr. Glay and Mrs. Lois Short Maggard.
Butch was a retired carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Amy Jo Maggard.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ruth; one son, Jeremiah Maggard (Chantal) of Bluffton, SC; two daughters, Amanda Maggard of Christiansburg, VA and Amy Elliott (Brent) of Frankfort, KY; one brother, Jeff Maggard (Melanie) of Glendale, KY; two sisters, Diane Hall (Tom) of Elizabethtown, KY and Melissa Allen of Cummings, GA; six grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
