Gaynelle (Dean) Way

     Gaynelle Dean Way, 65, of Tillman, SC passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  She was born on October 26, 1952 in Ridgeland, SC to the late Milton and Irene Boyles Dean. 

     Ms. Way was a member of Tillman Baptist Church where she was involved in many activities.  She was a strong–willed lady who was always smiling and brought joy to everyone she was around. She loved her Lord and was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

     Surviving Ms. Way are two sons, John Hartsfield (Melanie) and Lee Way; one daughter, Sandy Simons (Jason); one brother, Michael Wood; one sister, Ann Smith; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister-in-law, Jan Paige Dean, and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Terry Lee Way, Sr.

     A visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., followed by words of comfort at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Vaigneur Funeral Home, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland, SC 29936.

     Memorial donations may be made to Vaigneur Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
