Gary Gene Malphrus

Gary Gene Malphrus, 57, of Augusta GA, passed away on April 09, 2021 in Augusta Ga.

Mr. Malphrus was born on October 01, 1963. In high school, he won the Lower State Karate Championship, and later went on to compete in the Savannah GA “Tough Man” contest.  He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed: hunting, and fishing.  Gary loved his family, and all that knew him, knew he was a loving family man.

Left to cherish his memory are his: wife, Donna Malphrus, father, Wallace Malphrus (Allene),  six sons, Gary Malphrus, II, Johnathon Malphrus, Austin Malphrus, Michael Winsauer, Scotty Daniels, Chris Knox, two daughters: Jasmine Livengood Chavis (Lloyd), Megan Knox, one brother, “Bubba” Malphrus, three sisters, Candie Livengood, Lisa Livengood, Mary Kay Barros (Joseph), three nephews: James Teriwilliger Joseph Livengood, John Barros, three nieces: Courtney Malphrus, Melanie Malphrus, Tia Teriwilliger, three great nephews: Mathew Walling, Anthony Walling, Logan Walling, three grandchildren: Lydia Knox, Christian Knox, II, Luciana Knox, four stepsisters: Amanda Fletcher (Kent), Olivia May (Scott), Victoria Keiffer (Josh), Vanessa Smoak (Jason).  He is also survived by the mother of his children, Sharon Livengood.  He was predeceased by his mother, Robin Malphrus, and brother, David Wallace Malphrus, II.

His family will celebrate his life with a service at a later date.
