Evelynn Rose Mitchum

Evelynn "Birdie" Rose Mitchum, 15 months, passed away on September 7, 2022.  She was born on May 20, 2021, to Mr. and Mrs. Joshua and Emily Mitchum. 

Birdie Rose was adored by her family and loved by so many in our community.  Her loving spirit touched so many lives, and we are so blessed to have shared so many precious moments with her. She was an answered prayer for our family, a ray of sunshine to all who met her and God's blessing of pure love and light in a world where she would do so much in such a short time.  We love you, our darling Birdie Rose-may your light continue to shine for all to see.

Birdie is survived by her parents Josh and Emily Mitchum, brother Charlie Mitchum, sister Katie Faye Mitchum, Paternal grandparents, Tony and Muriel Mitchum, Maternal grandfather, Bill Baird, Uncles Tony Mitchum, and Charlie Baird (Barbie Rogers)

A funeral will be held on Wednesday September 14, 2022 at 11:00am at Ridgeland Baptist Church, 1448 Grays Highway, Ridgeland SC 29936 with a visitation starting at 10:00 am until the hour of service.  Burial will be in Ridgeland Cemetery following service.

The family request bright and happy colors be worn to the service, in honor of the joy "Birdie" brought to so many.
