Edna Kay (McCown) Long

     Edna Kay Long, 58, of Hardeeville, SC passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Ridgeland Nursing Center in Ridgeland, SC.  She was born on February 27, 1960 in Savannah, GA.

     Edna worked in the food service industry for over 15 years.  She enjoyed tending her flowers and loved her pets. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.

     Mrs. Long is survived by her husband, Harold “Sput” Long; one son, Wesley (Brittany) Long; her mother, Ruth McCown; two sisters, Mary (Wayne) Evans and Charlotte (Morris) Adams; four grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her father, James McCown.

     A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Nixville Baptist Church Cemetery, 3915 Two Sisters Ferry Road, Estill, SC 29918. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Vaigneur Funeral Home, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland, SC.
