Dean enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren. He loved to spend time outdoors and tinkering with any and everything. Sports was also a big part of his life.
Dean was an active member of his church. He taught Sunday school for over 35 years. He was a faithful servant. His love for telling stories made it easy for him to teach.
Dean retired from Palmetto Electric Cooperative with 34 years of dedicated service.
Dean touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his humorous stories, outgoing personality, and his willingness to help anyone he knew.
Dean is survived by his daughters; Meredith Daley, Morgan Ruscetta (Daniel), Sisters; Debra Daley (Wilbur), Diane Thames (Gentry), his four grandchildren; Henley, Cohen, Griffin, and Miles. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Ruth “Cookie” Daley, his parents Hugh and Mary Vaigneur Daley, and sister Donna Daley.
Above all else, Dean was a proud Papa whose greatest joy came from his children and grandchildren. He loved them deeply, celebrated their success, and treasured every moment spent together. His love, guidance, and support will always be remembered.
