Danny Morris

Claude Danny Morris Sr., 67, of Ridgeland, SC passed away on November 8, 2021, at the Ralph A Johnson VA Medical Center with his daughter by his side. Danny was born in Savannah, GA to Thomas Alex Morris Sr. and Miriam Zittrauer Harvey on March 21, 1954. 

Danny served the United States Marines for 4 years in the Vietnam War. His primary occupation during his lifetime was as a mechanic but did also work on shrimp boats and even as a truck driver later in his life. Danny loved hunting, fishing, being outside, on the water, and socializing with friends. He was a proud man who lived a simple life and gave what he could to those around him. 

Left to cherish his memory are his four children: Claude Danny Morris Jr., Doris Lashley (Greg), Tabitha Morris, Emily Lamb (Billie), six grandchildren: Claude Danny Morris III, Owynn Morris, Sydney Lashley, Sawyer Lashley, Haylie Malphrus and Tristin Dykes, one great grandchild: Daniel Morris, one brother: Roger Morris, two sisters: Tomi Ailene Morris, Dorothy Morris, and countless friends.

The family will be having a gathering of friends at the Salzburg Landing on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 1:00pm.
