Daniel Stuckey Chassereau

      Daniel Stuckey Chassereau, 79, of Ehrhardt, SC passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at his home. He was born on May 17, 1943, in Orangeburg, SC to the late Mr. L.H. and Mrs. Idalia Warren Chassereau.

      Mr. Chassereau owned and operated a pharmacy in Ehrhardt. He farmed for many years and raised cattle. His love for horses allowed him to enjoy traveling, to see some of the horses he raised compete.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

      Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patsie Chassereau; his son, Steven Chassereau; his daughter, Vicki Chassereau; two brothers, Olin Chassereau (Claudia) and Henry “Jr.” Chassereau (Loraine); two grandchildren, Brittany and Mikayla; and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Williams, Larue Smith and Grace Bays.

     A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church, 1173 Mt. Pleasant Road, Ehrhardt, SC 29801. The family will greet friends beginning at 1:30 pm until the hour of the service at the church.
