Carolyn (Cashion) Floyd

     Carolyn Cashion Floyd, 85, of Tillman, SC passed away on December 28, 2022. She was born on August 29, 1937, in Mooresville, NC to the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Burns and Edna Pope Cashion.

     Ms. Carolyn was a homemaker who loved gardening, animals, and cooking for  family and friends, and enjoyed diamond art as a hobby. She loved spending time with her family and holidays with her grandchildren.

     Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Jimmy (Regenea), Billy Wayne; three daughters, Sherrie Johnson, Denise Edgar, Barbara Ann (Wade); one sister, Doris (Jimmy), one brother, Gene (Peggy) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George Dewey Floyd, Jr.; two brothers, Billy, Rayvon; one sister, Cathy;  two sons, Johnny and Tony.

     A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on December 31, 2022, at Vaigneur Funeral Home, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland, SC. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the service at Floyd Cemetery in Tillman, SC.
