Carol (Lyles) Bradham

    Ms. Carol Lee Lyles Bradham, 85, of Ridgeland, SC passed away on July 20, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born in Sumter, SC on October 27, 1936, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifford and Agnus Stokes Lyles.

    Ms. Bradham was an educator for over 35 years, teaching Kindergarten at Calvary Christian, Abundant Life, and Step of Faith Christian Academies, where she retired from in 2011. She had a passion for education; and she and her late husband Raymond Bradham, Sr., were instrumental in starting Calvary Christian Academy and Step of Faith Christian Academy in Ridgeland, SC. Ms. Carol loved serving the Lord through her teaching. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and leading bible studies. Everyone who knew her, knew she always approached a task with 110% energy and the results showed.

    Ms. Bradham is survived by her son, Ray Bradham (Tracy), two daughters: Gay McDaniel (Mike), Joy Tharp (Troy), three grandchildren: Grant McDaniel, Brady Bradham, Ben Bradham, two brothers: Dan Lyles (Dotty), Bill Lyles (Shirley), one sister, Jean Redmond, three sisters in laws: Nancy Lyles, Gloria Lyles, and Bebe Lyles. In addition to her husband, father, and mother, she was also predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.

    The family will receive guests at Vaigneur Funeral Home, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland, SC on Saturday July 23, 2022, beginning at 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
