William “Billy” Hamilton Boyles III, 58, of Tillman SC, passed away on May 18, 2023. He was born on October 12, 1964 in Savannah GA, to the late William and Mary Louise Graham Boyles, Jr.
Billy was in facilities Maintenance for Del Webb Sun City for 28 years and took pride in his carpentry he did at work and at home for his family. He volunteered for the Tillman Fire Department for many years. His family meant everything to him. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. When he could, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
Music was a major part of his life and during his lifelong career as a musician, he played lead guitar and recorded with some of country music’s biggest recording artists. He cherished those sessions and had the opportunity to play with The Hee-Haw Crew, Hank Williams, III, Mark Wills, Narvel Felts, Michelle Murray, Marshal Dylan Band, Shannon Tanner and the Oyster Reefer Band, Aaron Tippin, Josh Turner, and many others.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Angela Lowther Boyles, sons, Dean and Devin Boyles, (honorary son), Ryan Hertzka, brother, Eddie Jaudon (Kim), and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday May 23, at 7:00 pm at Vaigneur Funeral Home, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland SC 29936. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until the hour of service.
