Audrey Riley

Audrey Melissa Riley, 59, of Garnett SC, passed away on June 19, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Brunswick GA on June 10, 1965, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Johnnie Tapley Mincey.

Ms. Riley worked in the hospitality industry for many years before retiring to her beloved home on Stokes Bluff.  She had many great neighbors, and they meant the world to her. Tending to her flower garden, being outdoors and on the river fishing, were her favorite pastimes. She loved her family, but her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Chris Mincey, Samantha Mims, Amanda Mincey (Cole Deloach), brothers: James Mincey (Tracy), George Mincey (Sheri), sister-in-law, Debbie Dennis (Mike), grandchildren: Jonathan, Breanna, Zachary, Jeremiah, Nicole, Jesse, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Riley.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday June 23, 2024, at Maye River Baptist Church Cemetery, 3507 Okatie Highway, Bluffton SC, 29909, at 3:00pm.  The family will receive guests beginning at 2:00 pm at the cemetery.
