Abby Ford

Abigail “Abby” Elizabeth Ford, 34, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Thursday evening, January 30th, at her home following an unexpected seizure.

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Abby’s love for the sunshine and ocean came naturally. She was always curious and adventurous, courageous and unapologetically herself. She had a gentle spirit, great laugh, wicked sense of humor, and wit that was unmatched. Abby was a loyal friend to all and never let anyone feel excluded. Having studied at the Art Institute of Jacksonville and Columbia College of Chicago, Abby was an accomplished cook, reader and creative writer. More recently in her life, art became Abby’s greatest passion and her artwork was displayed in studios and storefronts in the Cincinnati area. Interested in all things, her other passions included singing and song-writing for her niece, Austen, her beloved cats, cult-classic movies and television shows, crochet, her plants and flower garden, as well as her hot tea collection.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Lisa Ford; sisters, Hannah Pierson (Justin), Katie Ford, Dawn Firster; brothers, Seth Kottler (Jennifer), Allen Ford, Joshua Ford, Randy Thompson (Linda), as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, David Ford and grandmothers, Louise Bubier and Eloise Ford.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday April 5th, 2025 at 11:00am at Vaigneur Funeral Home, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland, SC. The family will receive guest beginning at 10:30am until the hour of service at the funeral home.
