Allen and Tricia,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I always loved her and had the utmost respect for her as a nurse. She and Polly were there for three out of our four children. I loved her great sense of humor and all the doctors loved her. She was a great influence on me as a nurse and helped me get my first job at Candler Telfair. I was so blessed to have known her. I pray for the Lord’s comfort for each of you in the coming days and weeks.

Tricia and Allen,
I am so sorry to hear this and will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I have many fond memories of Violet from when we were all growing up together on “the bluff”....piercing my ears after freezing them with ice cubes, lol, hanging out on the dock, rides to the store, and stories that influenced my decision to become a nurse. She was a wonderful lady with a big heart and a caring soul and I know you will miss her tremendously. Heaven has gained a truly special angel. Love and hugs to you.

Miss Violet is one of the sweetest and caring person I have known. She was a good friend to my mom when I moved here down here. She called and checked on me and Steve when he was sick. They don’t make them like her anymore. I will truly miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

My dear cousin Violet was a very loving, caring and compassionate person as well as a strong Christian. She has left me with many fond memories and shared experiences in life. Her guidance and inspiration greatly influenced my choice of a nursing career. Violet was at Candler and helped me birth my son, Seth Allen Wilson,Sr. Although we lived far apart we called or text each other often. We laughed together as we shared happy times and we cried together when we helped each other through though times of sadness. I will miss her wisdom and laughter as well as her support in many areas of my life. I will not say good bye. I will say, until we meet again and hold hands in the presence of our Lord in heaven.
