Linda Faye (Smith) Stone

Linda Smith Stone of Ft Lauderdale, FL passed away on August 8, 2019 after a brief illness.  Linda was born on April 3, 1944 in Ridgeland Hospital and is the daughter of the late Arnold and Edyce Smith of Ridgeland, SC.

Linda was a graduate of Ridgeland High School and Georgia Southern College.  She was formerly a science teacher, and she worked for several cruise lines as a coordinator for the children’s programs.

Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie (Stone) and Jeff Johnson of Hollywood, SC; and grandchildren, Hailey and Justin.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM , on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Vaigneur Funeral Home Chapel, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland, SC.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow the service in Grimes Cemetery, Grays Hwy, Early Branch, SC.
