Jesse Gonzalez

Jesus “Jesse” Florentinoh Gonzalez, 46, of Beaufort SC passed away on May 6, 2019.  He was born on October 26, 1972 in Boynton Beach, Fl to Mr and Mrs. Jose and Dominga Hernandez Gonzalez.

Jesse was a self employed plumber.  He loved to do custom woodworking and had an incredible gift to design exactly what a person wanted, even when they could not express their desires. When Jesse began any project, small or large, he worked with great pride and diligence to complete it to perfection.  The most amazing thing about Jesse was his aura of love; he was always smiling.  Being around him would make you happy through his wisdom and being able to talk with him.  He was always ready to offer his encouragement and lend his support to those who needed him.  His alluring magnetism caused everyone to love him. Some who knew him, described him as a “Teddy Bear”. He was someone you could share all your secrets, knowing his loyalty and honor were trustworthy.  He loved God and his family with unwavering devotion.  Providing for his family was his greatest enjoyment, especially feeding them.  He was quite the “Foodie”.  It did not matter what he had, he shared without thinking of himself, giving his all to the ones he loved.  Fishing, muscle cars, and driving country back roads were a few of his favorite pastimes.  His memory is a priceless treasure, for truly this man made the world a better place.  A great light has gone out with his passing.  Until we meet again my beloved….

Left to cherish his memory is his father, Jose Gonzalez, his mother, Dominga Gonzalez, his wife, Melissa Anne Gonzalez, one son, Alexander, two daughters Nicole and Jessica, four brothers, Jose (Malissa), Noel (Gwen), Alberto (Gloria), Marcos (Sandra), three sisters Maria, Martha (Payton), Yolonda (Jesse), and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at Bethel Tabernacle, 2608 Mossy Oaks Road Beaufort SC 29906.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to the hour of services, at the church.
