George Truett Baker

George Truett Baker, 61, of Okatie, SC passed away on February 10, 2017 at Coastal Carolina Hospital, in Hardeeville SC.  He was born on February 19, 1955 in Raeford, N.C. to the late Reverend James E. and Louise Malphrus Baker. He graduated from St. George High, and later attended the University of South Carolina, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Mr. Baker is survived by his brother James E. “Jimmy” Baker (Elaine) and nephew Jacob E. Baker.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jerry C. Baker and nephew Justin I. Baker.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Great Swamp Church Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
