Steve Roberts

Stephen “Steve” Roberts, 59, of Ridgeland SC, passed away on Sunday March 31, 2024. He was born on April 14, 1964, in Beaufort SC to the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Freida Chambers Roberts.

Steve worked in steel construction for many years. He was very active at Great Swamp Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Tuesday morning prayer team, Swamp Kids children program on Wednesday and volunteering for construction projects around the church. Steve was a friend to all and will be missed by many. His favorite past-times were bowling with his brother Richard, watching Step of Faith softball games and fishing. Steve and Richard were not  only brothers; they were best friends, and Richard could never have had a better brother.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Brittany Drawdy (Taylor),   Tiffany Vititoe (Michael), brother, Richard Roberts, and five grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at Great Swamp Baptist Church, 9009 Tarboro Road, Ridgeland SC on Sunday April 7, 2024, at 4:00 pm
