Toby Tyler

     Walter James “Toby” Tyler, Jr., 72, of Ridgeland, SC passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Life Care Center of Hilton Head, SC.  Mr. Tyler was born September 6, 1944 in Ridgeland, SC to his loving parents Walter and Edith Nettles.

     Mr. Tyler was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force, and was a retired carpenter.  He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather.

     Survivors include his mother, Edith Nettles; one daughter, Dawn Milliken (Jason); one brother, Wayne Nettles (Rhonda); two sisters, Trudy Bush and Faye Manning (Greg); and two grandchildren, Tyler and Tori DeFoe.

     Funeral Services and burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC.
