Marcy Marie (Boren) Long

Marcella “Marcy” Marie Boren Long, 45, of Ridgeland, SC passed away March 5, 2017 in Nassau, Bahamas.  Marcy was born March 31, 1971 in Bellville, Illinois to Dwight Boren and the late Carol Payne. 

Mrs. Long enjoyed on-line shopping for “deals” to save money, and giving a home to animals that needed a helping hand. She loved to travel whenever she had the chance. She was fascinated by the mountains and enjoyed going to the beach to relax and hunt for sharks’ teeth. Marcy also took great interest in growing flowers, and looking at old cars and guitars.  She was a great cook, a wonderful friend, and an awesome wife and mother.

She is survived by her father, Dwight Boren (Patsy); her husband, Lamar Long; sons, Christian Byington and Markie Koelling; and sister, Tiffany Collins (Keith).

Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Vaigneur Funeral Home, 6802 Tillman Road, Ridgeland, SC 29936.
