     Edwin Frank Broschard, 79, of Tillman, SC passed away at his home on April 16, 2017. He was born October 21, 1937 in Somers Point, New Jersey, to the late Howard and Ruth Wright Broschard. 

     Mr. Broschard was a twenty-year resident of South Carolina after living in McKee City, NJ. He worked as a mechanic and was the “go to man” for top notch engine rebuilds.  He loved his Harley Davidson and his many treks along the East Coast from Nova Scotia to Florida, proving his firm belief that “a motorcycle should be ridden and not pulled in a trailer”.  Mr. Broschard was also a well accomplished drag racer in the 1960’s.  He was loved by many and loved his family and friends dearly.

     Mr. Broschard is survived by two sons, James S. and Timothy J. Broschard (Toni); one daughter, Hollie R. Broschard-Jones (James); four brothers, Leroy, Ralph, Roger, and Steve Broschard; three sisters, Janice Germanio, Eileen Dunbar, and Pamela Broschard; eight grandchildren, Ed (Brittney), Amber (Thomas), Timothy, Dakota, Olivia, Sidney, Lindsey (Shelby), and Meagan (Jimmy); three great grandchildren, Aurora, Raiden, and Adelynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     He was predeceased by his wife, Alice S. Broschard; one son, Rodney R. Broschard; two brothers, Howard and Phillip Broschard; and one sister, Shirley Boekenkamp.

     A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the family home,1243 Floyd Road in Tillman, SC 29943.
