Betty Jean (Floyd) Smith

     Betty Jean Smith, 65, of Ridgeland, SC passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at her home. She was born October 21, 1952 in Savannah, GA to the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Ruth Sheppard Floyd.

      Mrs. Smith was a homemaker,  a devout Christian and a faithful member of Bethel Tabernacle in Beaufort, SC. Bonny Hall Plantation, where she lived as a child, was one of the things she loved, as well as her pets, and painting woodwork.  She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother.

     Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Harrison Smith; three sons, David (Reich), Chris, and Kevin (Sarah) Smith; and six grandchildren, Skyler Adrien, Isaac, Daniel, Paige, Ira and Zach Smith.

     Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 am at Vaigneur Funeral Home Chapel, 6802 Tillman Rd., Ridgeland, SC. A visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Ridgeland Cemetery, Ingram St., Ridgeland, SC.
