Becky Floyd

     Rebecca Fay Floyd, 59, of Ridgeland, SC passed away August 15, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, GA.  She was born in Ridgeland, SC on December 26, 1957 to James E. and Daphne Jones Floyd.

     Becky worked in the shipping department of Razor Industries in Ridgeland, SC as well as various other jobs throughout her life. She was an active member of Ridgeland Baptist Church, enjoyed making decorative wreaths for others, and was dedicated to anything she set her mind to. Becky always put others first and was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.

     Surviving family members include her father, Ed Floyd (Linda); mother, Daphne Floyd; daughter, Debbie Meador (Howard); brother, Jay Floyd (Kim); nephews, Jayde Floyd and Ryan Clark; niece, Chelsey Clark; grandchildren, Mary Ella and Mason Meador, many loving aunts and uncles, and Laneah Balcarcel, whom she loved dearly.

     Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at Ridgeland Baptist Church, 1448 Grays Highway, Ridgeland, SC. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm until the hour of the service at the church. Interment will follow at Great Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, 9009 Tarboro Road, Ridgeland, SC.
